Toribio Osterkamp was born 1959 in Madrid, Spain but is living now in the harbour city of Hamburg “Gateway to the world”.

Toribio started Karate at the age of 13 and graduated Shodan by Ochi-Shihan in 1980 after a 5 years period of hard training, his first instructor being Dr. Peter Schroeder, a former member of German DKB National Team.

In 1982 he graduated Nidan and was called for German National Kata-Team during a 10 years period together with his colleagues Marjan Glad and Herbert Perchtold.

After doing a lot of Karate courses and week-end seminars as former member of German National Team he was announced by Ochi-Shihan in 1993 to represent as an official DJKB-Instructor, together with his colleagues Risto Kiiskilä and Marjan Glad on all official seminars and courses of DJKB.
